Quizzes
Quizzes are designed to strengthen your retention of key information and to reward careful reading and participation in class. A quiz will contain 5-20 questions from the readings, course presentations, discussions, videos, etc. and 6 are offered in-class throughout the semester. You can earn up to 4 points per quiz. Your lowest quiz score will be dropped. There are no make-up quizzes.
We will design the questions to reflect important topics considered rather than obscure and irrelevant terms or examples, etc. Most questions will require you to think about what you have read, seen, and learned in class. Some questions will be simple and designed to reward you for coming to class and observing what is happening (i.e., "What was the major topic discussed in the video we watched this week?"). Some questions will be more difficult. The questions will primarily focus on the readings, presentations, and discussions since the previous set of Review Questions.
You may print-out and bring/use your Reading Notes during each quiz.
