final exam
This exam is an opportunity for you to review all that you've learned this semester. You may bring to the exam all of the concept maps you have produced this semester. The maps must be printed on paper; you will not be allowed to use your computer during the exam. You can rely on them to help you answer the exam questions. Remember that each map is limited to one, single-sided, 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper. I will ask to see your maps, to ensure that they meet this requirement, during the final exam. You are not required to use or produce your concept maps.
If your maps were developed carefully and your attendance was strong, you should be well prepared for the exam. The exam will be 40-50 multiple choice questions covering archaeological methods and practices. Subjects discussed in the book and exclusively in class will be on the exam. Your class notes may be added as additional concepts and linking words to your maps. The emphasis will be on concepts and examples of the concepts in practice.
Most questions on the "Practice Final Exam," offered at the start of the course will be on this Final Exam.
