final, revised research report
The clarity of our thinking improves with each careful revision of our written work. It takes multiple drafts to understand our subject and create something that we are proud of.
The Final in this course is an opportunity for you to resubmit a revised and significantly improved version of your comparative Research Report. Please address all comments and suggestions I provided in the review of your earlier report. Also, please re-read the activity description page (especially the content of the eight sections and evaluation criteria) as it has been updated. My expectations for the quality of this revised report are much higher than for the first submission. In other words, I will grade it "harder." A careful revision may take as long as your first draft.
Please upload the report (in Microsoft Word format) no later than Monday, 9 December, at 10:30 am. This is the university's scheduled exam time for our course. Our class will NOT meet at that day/time.
Please let me know, by writing a note at the beginning of your Report, if you would like to receive in-text "Track Changes" comments from me on your Revised Report. Otherwise, I will only email you a completed assessment using the associated rubric.
Late reports will lose 10% of the assignment's total point value for each 24 hour period the paper is late (i.e., 2.5 points per day). I cannot accept late reports after Wednesday at 10:30 am. After that time you will lose the opportunity to earn the 25 points allocated to this assignment.
