team evaluation

At the end of the block we will do a 360-degree assessment.  That is, your team will evaluate your contribution to the group's project. 360-degree assessments are used by a variety of employers to help an employee improve his/her performance by seeing different perspectives on their performance. Successful people seek input from others on their work and try to understand how they are perceived by others.  Career success can be diminished when we have inaccurate perceptions of our performance.

As you prepare to evaluate your team members I recommend you consider:
  • the strengths and weakness of their contribution to the quality of work your team produced this semester
  • the reliability, helpfulness, timeliness, attendance, and attitude of each team member

If you miss team meetings (in-class or out-of-class) or say you will do something and don't, you should expect your team to give you a low score.

Each team member will evaluate every other team member using a point scale from 0 to 5 (5 is the highest score).  I will consider these points when assigning the final participation/attendance points.
